A shot in the dark!

I always am looking for God in the news to see what he may be saying. There are certainly the “Big News Stories” such as war, the middle east and other very relevant and important things to keep note of. I do this as well.

At the same time I’m always looking for a parable and a “hidden message”. It was after all Daniel who YHWH gave insight into Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. It was then Daniel who sat in the king’s gate while Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego endured the golden image and then the fiery furnace. What a great model for us to see the Rapture in and a hiding away of a remnant of God’s people. It is also great to see Jesus directly saving his own out of the fire.

I have been following the “miner story”. Why? Well there are 6 men, and 6 happens to be the number of man. A mine is a deep, deep dark place. It is accessed by the surface and drilling down a hole. I think of this as a “worm hole”. If we were ever to be “saved” and caught up in the air with Jesus it may be by something like this.

It has been 10 days. It was today that a glimmer of hope has come up. A noise or vibration was heard and they will drill a 4th hole (the number for earth) to see if they can find the miner. They believe that a “curtain” may have been there where the miners may have been saved and found a pocket of air.

Certainly at this point it would be considered a “miracle” if they were found alive and brought out of this “dark place” where they would die if not saved.

"There's always a chance. You have to hang on to that chance. But realistically it is small, quite small," said J. Davitt McAteer, former head of the Mine Health and Safety Administration. "You would have to have every single break and divine intervention to successfully extract these guys."

Here is the story:
