Midnight Significance for Rapture Watch!!!

…looking at the timing of midnight being the time of the rapture and other potential insights…

Egypt is a picture of this world: YHWH will go out into the midst of Egypt at midnight

Exodus 11:4And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:Exodus 11:3-5 (in Context) Exodus 11 (Whole Chapter)

Under the law death was required. In Acts the same number of men were saved that were smote by the Lord. Maybe the firstborn stands for firstfruits and under the Chruch/Grace they will be saved instead…

Exodus 12:29And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.Exodus 12:28-30 (in Context) Exodus 12 (Whole Chapter)

I get real excited about this one…Sampson may be a picture of Jesus and he took the doors of the gate of the city – opening a way for us??? – He is mighty to save!!!

Judges 16:3And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.Judges 16:2-4 (in Context) Judges 16 (Whole Chapter)

A woman lay at his feet – The Bride!

Ruth 3:8And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.Ruth 3:7-9 (in Context) Ruth 3 (Whole Chapter)
This is where Solomon gives rights of the woman’s child back to her after the 2nd woman had her child die

1 Kings 3:20And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.1 Kings 3:19-21 (in Context)

1 Kings 3 (Whole Chapter)
It sounds like there may be simultaneous death on earth and also “the mighty shall be taken away without hand” – Rapture…

Job 34:20In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.Job 34:19-21 (in Context) Job 34 (Whole Chapter)

Those “mighty” take away will be giving thanks!!!

Psalm 119:62At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.Psalm 119:61-63 (in Context) Psalm 119 (Whole Chapter)

At midnight there is death and also a marriage…

Matthew 25:6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.Matthew 25:5-7 (in Context) Matthew 25 (Whole Chapter)

A command to watch and also a clue for subsequent raptures???

Mark 13:35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:Mark 13:34-36 (in Context) Mark 13 (Whole Chapter)

Those left behind outside the door asking for spiritual food…

Luke 11:5And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;Luke 11:4-6 (in Context) Luke 11 (Whole Chapter)

Praising God and the prisoners heard, there was an earthquake, foundations shaken and the bonds loosed…dead in Christ will rise…

Acts 16:25And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.Acts 16:24-26 (in Context) Acts 16 (Whole Chapter)

Maybe this is a last set of instructions for those left behind like Elijah and Elisha???

Acts 20:7And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.Acts 20:6-8 (in Context) Acts 20 (Whole Chapter)

Drew near to some country – the Hebrews 11 country….OUR TRUE COUNTRY!!!

Acts 27:27But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;Acts 27:26-28 (in Context) Acts 27 (Whole Chapter)

Blessings,

Tony
