Revelation 2:22-23 (New American Standard Bible)
22'Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who (A)commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of [a]her deeds.
23'And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who (B)searches the minds and hearts; and (C)I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

James 2:22-23 (New American Standard Bible)
22You see that (A)faith was working with his works, and as a result of the (B)works, faith was perfected;
23and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "(C)AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS," and he was called (D)the friend of God.
* Answer to what is needed to be worthy
Mark 2:22-23 (New American Standard Bible)
22"No one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost and the skins as well; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins."
Question of the Sabbath
23(A)And it happened that He was passing through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples began to make their way along while (B)picking the heads of grain.
Wineskins are bodies. The new wine will be put into new bodies, not old ones. Picking the heads of grain is a subsequent harvest.
Acts 2:22-23 (New American Standard Bible)
22"Men of Israel, listen to these words: (A)Jesus the Nazarene, (B)a man attested to you by God with miracles and (C)wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know--
23this Man, delivered over by the (D)predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, (E)you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.
Message to Israel regarding Jesus
John 2:21-24 (New American Standard Bible)
21But He was speaking of (A)the temple of His body.
Adar 3 was yesterday (2/21) and was the day that the temple was complete (Ezra 6:15 This temple was completed on the third day of the month Adar; it was the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.)
22So when He was raised from the dead, His (B)disciples (C)remembered that He said this; and they believed (D)the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
23Now when He was in Jerusalem at (E)the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, (F)observing His signs which He was doing.
24But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for (G)He knew all men,
Luke 2:22-26 (New American Standard Bible)
22(A)And when the days for their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord
Temple presentation
23(as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "(B)EVERY firstborn MALE THAT OPENS THE WOMB SHALL BE CALLED HOLY TO THE LORD"),
24and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law of the Lord, "(C)A PAIR OF TURTLEDOVES OR TWO YOUNG PIGEONS."
25And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was (D)righteous and devout, (E)looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
26And (F)it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not (G)see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ
Promise of no death til’ Christ
Haggai 2:22-23 (New American Standard Bible)
22'I will (A)overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the (B)power of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will (C)overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the (D)horses and their riders will go down, (E)everyone by the sword of another.'
destruction
23'On that day,' declares the LORD of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,' declares the LORD, 'and I will make you like a (F)signet ring, for (G)I have chosen you,'" declares the LORD of hosts.
Signet ring
Joel 2:22-24 (New American Standard Bible)
22Do not fear, beasts of the field, For the (A)pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has borne its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.
Beast of the field demons, kings of the earth. Also, fig tree full.
23So rejoice, O (B)sons of Zion, And (C)be glad in the LORD your God; For He has (D)given you [a]the early rain for your vindication And He has poured down for you the rain, The [b]early and [c](E)latter rain as before.
Early rain for vindication
24The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will (F)overflow with the new wine and oil.
Threshing floor for the Great Tribulation to begin but there will be new wine & oil – God’s Holy Spirit
Hosea 2:20-23 (New American Standard Bible)
20And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will (A)know the LORD.
21"It will come about in that day that (B)I will respond," declares the LORD. "I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth,
22And the (C)earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine and to the oil, And they will respond to [a]Jezreel.
23"I will (D)sow her for Myself in the land (E)I will also have compassion on her who had not obtained compassion, And (F)I will say to those who were (G)not My people, 'You are My people!' And they will say, 'You are my God!'"
Daniel 2:21-24 (New American Standard Bible)
21"It is He who (A)changes the times and the epochs; He (B)removes kings and establishes kings; He gives (C)wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.
22"It is He who (D)reveals the profound and hidden things; (E)He knows what is in the darkness, And the (F)light dwells with Him.
23"To You, O (G)God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise, For You have given me (H)wisdom and power; Even now You have made known to me what we (I)requested of You, For You have made known to us the king's matter."
24Therefore, Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon; he went and spoke to him as follows: "(J)Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon! Take me into the king's presence, and I will declare the interpretation to the king."
Daniel is saved and promoted for this intervention of faith. He then sits in the King’s gate while Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego face tribulation & fire (the 4th man shows up and saves them – Praise YHWH!)
Esther 2:20-24 (New American Standard Bible)
20(A)Esther had not yet made known her kindred or her people, even as Mordecai had commanded her; for Esther did what Mordecai told her as she had done (B)when under his care.
Still hidden
Mordecai Saves the King
21In those days, while Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate, (C)Bigthan and Teresh, two of the king's officials from those who guarded the door, became angry and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus.

Mordecai in the king’s gate
22But the plot became known to Mordecai and (D)he told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai's name.
23Now when the plot was investigated and found to be so, they were both hanged on a [a]gallows; and it was written in (E)the Book of the Chronicles in the king's presence
King’s gate now clear, evil men hanged in the gallows by the doing of Esther & Mordecai
2 Kings 2:21-24 (New American Standard Bible)
21He went out to the spring of water and (A)threw salt in it and said, "Thus says the LORD, 'I have purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.'"
Elisha, subsequent harvest after Elijah and he has healed the waters from death & unfruitfulness.
22So the waters have been purified to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.
23Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and (B)mocked him and said to him, "Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!"
Mocking Elisha
24When he looked behind him and saw them, he (C)cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number.
Bears out of the woods – warfare
1 Kings 2:21-24 (New American Standard Bible)
21So she said, "(A)Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as a wife."
Bathsheba is asked by Adonijah for the virgin who belonged to his father David
22King Solomon answered and said to his mother, "And why are you asking Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? (B)Ask for him also the kingdom--(C)for he is my older brother--even for him, for (D)Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah!"
23Then King Solomon swore by the LORD, saying, "May God do so to me and more also, if Adonijah has (E)not spoken this word against his own life.
24"Now therefore, as the LORD lives, who has established me and set me on the throne of David my father and (F)who has made me a house as He promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death today."
Adonijah put to death
Judges 2:20-24 (New American Standard Bible)
20(A)So the anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He said, "Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers and has not listened to My voice,
21(B)I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died,
22in order to (C)test Israel by them, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk in it as their fathers did, or not."
23So the LORD allowed those nations to remain, not driving them out quickly; and He did not give them into the hand of Joshua.
Tribulation and testing time for Israel, time of Jacob’s trouble
Joshua 2:20-24 (New American Standard Bible)
22They departed and came to the hill country, and remained there for three days until the pursuers returned. Now the pursuers had sought them all along the road, but had not found them.
23Then the two men returned and came down from the hill country and crossed over and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and they related to him all that had happened to them.
24They said to Joshua, "Surely the LORD has given all the land into our hands; moreover, (A)all the inhabitants of the land have melted away before us."
Jericho’s coming destruction

22Then she gave birth to (C)a son, and he named him Gershom, for he said, "I have been (D)a sojourner in a foreign land."
Marriage & a birth
23Now it came about in the course of those many days that the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel (E)sighed because of the bondage, and they cried out; and (F)their cry for help because of their bondage rose up to God.
24So (G)God heard their groaning; and God remembered (H)His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
25(I)God saw the sons of Israel, and God took notice of them.
God heard the cries of Israel & their bondage.
Genesis 2:20-24 (New American Standard Bible)
22The LORD God [b]fashioned into a woman (C)the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
23The man said, "(D)This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."
24(E)For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
The original marriage and One Flesh as man and wife.
Blessings,
Tony
